Day 2 in Jakarta

Woke up early this morning... well at least it was early for me during off days... 10+ am! haha.. =P

Mom said to go market to jalan jalan.... found out that bringing those 2 kids wasn't an easy task. At least with the older one she's ok.. but the younger one with the age of 2+ it's kinda hard to dealed with... not much of experience i would say! Even mom would also give up at times with his behaviour!! Hahaha....

It was a long walking journey from the apartment to the market, especially with the hot sun hanging out there! Gotta see more with this long mile....

The place is either filled with big huge bangalors that looks so grand on the outside... or one could see next to it would be either an emptly land or covered with rundown kampung houses. "How could this be?" was right in my mind.... we don't see this anywhere in PJ or KL (not sure for other states so far). This place is neither high class or low!!


Along the way to the morning market... contructions on big houses were everywhere... no wonder bro doesn't allowed mom to bring the kid when she's alone with her.... "NOT SAFE" that's my bro's answer, and I can see why....

No offence in anyway.... Maybe it's juz lacking a sense on security especially it's not our main land I suppose, we are not in their culture nor any background knowledge obtain. I believe foreigners who work in Malaysia would feel the same in the beginning stage too more or less...

With the sweat and sun hanging around us, we manage to arrive to the market in peace... Saw something interesting..... to prevent flies flying and stopping everywhere, the kuih store actually put up a straw (with honey?) in a softdrink bottle and place it at the center of the kuih placement... u can actually see flies were sticking on to the straw like a "flies collection" tube or something! Hahaha....

Not to miss the store selling grain..... just look at the timbang machine...

Old antient type of machine.. brings back lots of childhood memories.... feels great!! =)

We came back from market by using the same route with packets of food... fish... grain... mee.. etc for lunch... yummy yummy!! It really tasted quite good, at least i didn't get a stomach ache by taking that!! Kakaka.... no lah! Juz joking! ;0)

But felt really sleeping after taking the lunch though, wonder whether the store had added any sleeping pills ingredients in the food or not coz I was sleeping through the whole afternoon (was trying to avoid me being a piggy!!)

Until it's time to go out lepak... I'm awake!!! =D

Gosh! That's was such a nice NAP!! (although it was kinda long)

We went over to Mal Puri Indah, a shopping mall... all i manage to see was to walk around for a few minutes and head up to Puri Land = a wonderland of play station for kids.

Kinda bored than... especially the elder kid were focusing playing with my bro and me and mom were left behind to take care of the younger one..

Didn't manage to really walk through the shopping mall.... juz Puri Land.....

What's gonna happen in the next couple of days?????
